Biography
Mr. Mack is a partner at O'Connor, Carnathan and Mack, LLC since 2005. Prior to joining his current firm, Mr. Mack worked in the litigation departments at Nixon Peabody LLP and Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar, P.C. In his 25-year career as a commercial litigator, Mr. Mack has achieved success at the state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings.
Mr. Mack practices in a wide range of matters, including breaches of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, employment disputes, insurance coverage issues, corporate governance matters and disputes between owners of closely held companies and partnerships, conflicts between trustees and beneficiaries, land use disputes, and commercial and residential landlord-tenant matters.
Mr. Mack has been working as a volunteer mediator in civil cases at the Salem District Court and through the North Shore Mediation Center in Massachusetts since 2015. Mr. Mack receives Distinguished Rating from Martindale Hubbell. He has been selected as Massachusetts Super Lawyer each year since 2010 and Voted Massachusetts “Rising Star” attorney in 2005. Mr. Mack served on the Planning Board in the City of Beverly, MA for approximately 12 years.
Mr. Mack is a contributing author to Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s treatise entitled Damages, Interest and Attorney Fees in Massachusetts Litigation. He is also has served as a panelist at numerous MCLE and BBA seminars, and regularly comments on recent case law in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
Mr. Mack received his J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law and his A.B. from Dartmouth College.
