Biography
Mr. Volkin is the founder of Law Offices of David J Volkin since 2016, where he handles diverse matters for clients of all sizes ranging from individuals and small businesses to some of the largest global corporations and banks.
Mr. Volkin has over 24 years’ experience in the legal profession. He specializes in civil litigation including employment law, commercial law, real estate, and environmental litigation. He began his career in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General's Corp in 1995 where he served in Yokosuka, Japan and in San Diego, California. After leaving active duty, he remained in the Naval Reserves until his retirement in 2015. In 2001, Mr. Volkin entered the private sector working in Boston's Financial District for Fitzhugh & Mariani LLP focused on defending civil lawsuits.
Mr. Volkin is a selected Superlawyer and Martindale Hubbel rated attorney. He is also member of Massachusetts Bar Association Small and Solo Law Practice Management Section Council.
Mr. Volkin is admitted to U.S. District Court, Dist. of Massachusetts, U.S. Court of Appeals for Armed Forces and U.S. Court of Appeals, First Circuit. Mr. Volkin received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his B.A./B.S., cum laude, from Syracuse University.
