Biography

Ms. Lupo is the Managing Member of Lupo Law, Arbitration and Mediation PLLC of Manhattan, Garden City, and Staatsburg, New York.

 

With 25 years dispute resolution experience and greater than 500 mediations and arbitrations, Ms. Lupo brings a unique perspective to her craft as a mediator and arbitrator having sat in every seat at the dispute resolution table (client, advocate and neutral). As a neutral her areas of expertise lie in resolving Commercial/Business; Employment; Entertainment; Insurance; Civil Rights; Intellectual Property; and High-Net Worth Divorce disputes.  

 

In addition to being an AMANDA panelist, Ms. Lupo is a commercial arbitration and mediation panelist of the American Arbitration Association; an arbitrator with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA); an arbitrator and mediator with CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution (commercial and employment); and a member of the mediation rosters of the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York; Supreme Court of the State of New York, New York County, Commercial Division and Matrimonial; Supreme Court of the State of New York, Kings County, Matrimonial; New York City Family Court; and New York City Civil Court.

 

Lupo Law is outside general counsel to business organizations.  The firm’s attorneys assist clients with formulating sound and cohesive business and legal strategies.  Representative client industries include: FinTech, Information Technology, E & V Commerce, EnergyTech, Public Relations, Fashion, Architecture and Engineering, Restaurants, Hospitality, and Borrowed Personnel. 

 

Ms. Lupo was a Higginbotham Fellow of the American Arbitration Association and the Judith S. Kaye fellow of the Historical Society of the New York Courts. She is a member of several international, state, and local bar and dispute resolution associations.  Currently, she is a vice-chair of the ABA’s Dispute Resolution Section’s marketing committee; co-chair of the NYSBA’s Dispute Resolution Section’s professional development committee; the immediate past co-chair of its ADR in the Courts committee and executive committee member.

 

Ms. Lupo holds an A.B. from Bard College; an M.A. from SUNY Stony Brook, and a J.D. from Touro Law Center, with honors.
