Biography
Ms. Salzman has over 30 years of experience as a lawyer and arbitrator/mediator specializing in commercial litigation and employment disputes. She has extensive experience working in dispute management and resolution techniques. As an experienced arbitrator and mediator, Ms. Salzman has arbitrated numerous contract disputes involving commercial agreements in matters ranging from $50,000 to $7 million. She has served as chair of several panels concerning multimillion-dollar disputes related to terms and conditions of executive employment contracts between major corporations and their senior executives involving compensation, benefits, bonuses, entitlements, and post-employment obligations. Further, Ms. Salzman has had experience in arbitrations that deal with securities, commercial, employment including discrimination, and consumer cases involving personal injury, lemon law, and statutory claims involving FCRA, TILA, and FDCPA. She has extensive experience as a mediator as well, helping parties reach a mutually acceptable solution to their disputes. She has mediated over 100 cases, and is a mediator for the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the District Courts of Nassau County.
Ms. Salzman received her JD from Hofstra University School of Law, and her B.A. from Queens College.
