Mr. Rudder has served as an attorney in Family and Divorce law for nearly 40 years, currently operating his own boutique practice that has handled thousands of divorces and other family matters. He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell (both lawyers & judges editions) and has been for over 20 years. Having been involved in a diversity of cases, including developing an expertise in Child Custody cases, has allowed Mr. Rudder to develop unparalleled skills in resolving high conflict cases. He is regularly appointed by Judges to represent the children in high conflict disputes, further portraying his ability to negotiate, resolve conflict, and the respect he has gained from his depth of experience. Further, Mr. Rudder’s ethics and character have made him well respected by colleagues and Judges, as well as all court personnel. Mr. Rudder has the experience to understand how to achieve the most equitable resolution in Divorce and other Family law matters, and how to arrive at a resolution in a time and cost-efficient manner.

Mr. Rudder also has experience as a Civil Rights and Criminal Defense attorney, having focused on these areas of practice for around 10 years before specializing in Divorce & Family Law. He is a former co-chair of the New York County Lawyer’s Association-Matrimonial Section, a member of the Interdisciplinary Committee on Child Custody, a member of the Matrimonial Committee of the Bar Association of the City of New York, among other associations. He received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and his B.A. from City College of New York (CUNY).
