Biography
With 20 years as a litigator, Mr. Harman has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in all aspects of labor and employment law in federal and state court, and before federal, state, and local government agencies. Some of the successful representation Mr. Harman has given includes employment discrimination cases and complex wage-and-hour disputes, including collective and class actions. He has also achieved seven-figure resolutions for high-income individuals, including attorneys, bankers, doctors, executives, and other high-level professionals. Mr. Harman has represented both sides of the isle, which is rare in the employment world and which makes him a highly sought-after arbitrator and mediator.
Mr. Harman has also served as arbitrator and mediator in hundreds of employment related disputes, including multi-plaintiff wage and hour, sexual harassment, and discrimination claims. He is further associated with a variety of professional organizations, including the New York State Bar Association, the Southern District of New York, is the Secretary and Chair of the LGBT Committee of the New York City Association, among other associations. As an accomplished litigator and as a neutral, he engages his depth of experience in resolving even the most complex employment disputes, in the most cost and time-efficient manner. Mr. Harman received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, and his B.F.A. from Marymount Manhattan College.
